I've played
golf since I was a little kid, in the days when every hole
was an exciting adventure. But the relentless pursuit of perfection
and emotional demands of competition on the LPGA Tour destroyed
my love for the game.
I left
the Tour in late 1989, swearing to never touch a golf club
again. But the game was in my blood and in 1991 I turned to
teaching. Before long, I began to experience the same frustrations
as a teacher that I felt as a player.
Weary
of this love/hate cycle, I became determined to regain the
spirit of adventure of my childhood. An intense period of
soul searching led to just that. Now, my quest is to help
others avoid the physical and emotional traps into which I
frequently fell.

The Positive
Strokes Workshop is the culmination of all I
have learned about creating a game that is satisfying and fun.
It has become my passion
and the foundation of my work. It brings me great joy to help
alleviate golfer's frustrations, and replace them with an ability
to create the game of their dreams. |
